Chadron

Homestead Bank's Chadron branch originated as the 'Richard Bros. & Brown Loan Company' in O'Linn, Nebraska in 1884. It relocated overnight and purchased the first lot in the new townsite of Chadron in 1885. Nationalized in 1887 as First National Bank, it occupied its present historic registry location since 1917. The bank merged with its' affiliate (Homestead Bank) in 2021.
